I want to begin this post by expressing how much I have enjoyed my research, writing and connecting with everyone involved in this year’s 31 Days Writing Challenge. At first I was doing this just for me….to challenge myself. But over the course of these 31 Days I have learned a lot and so in this last post, I want to thank some of the people that have made it more than I ever thought it could be.
First and foremost, I want to thank Gretchen Louise. Gretchen redesigned my blog a couple of months ago and really got me excited about taking my blog to a new level. When the 31 Days Writing Challenge came along, her expertise and informational posts really helped me make the decision to go for it! I am now working with Gretchen to put together my e-Book that will be based on this 31 Day Series. Gretchen’s talents in social media are endless and I will be forever grateful that I was led to her.
And speaking of being led, my dear friend, Monica, who I constantly rave about, was the one that led me to Gretchen. Thank you, Monica, for all your words of wisdom, encouragement and support throughout this series and of course, in general. I am so glad that God reconnected us through our blogging interests and I so hope we can stay connected even though there are many states between us!
Next I would like to thank those awesome gals that regularly left comments on my blog during this series. You have no idea how encouraging it was to read that someone finally understood something in football they never got before. A little link love to those ladies…… Alisa, Anita, Susan, Natalie, Tonya, Lisa, and Abby. All awesome writers if you all want some great reading. Thank you girls for your loyal support!
Now I want to thank my family. This writing challenge was….well, somewhat of a challenge. For all of us! It kept me pretty busy and preoccupied and I appreciate all the subtle hints you all gave to remind me that my family is my first priority. LOL All kidding aside, I know I haven’t been available as much as I usually am so thank you for being patient and not getting too upset when dinner was not ready and the dishes piled up high for the 4th day in a row.
Thank you especially to my husband and sons who constantly answered my questions about football and worked hard to listen over and over to each new post that I had to read out loud before I hit publish.
Thank you to my girls for their listening ears, their sweet hearts that are full of patience and their constant nagging at me to get off my computer. I know you love me but not nearly as much as I love you!
And last but not least, I want to thank God. I have learned so much throughout this series. And not all about football. I have learned about myself, my marriage and my faith. My self-worth has been tested, my energy drained and my purpose put into question. And through it all, I managed to write every single day for the whole 31 Days and never lose my sense of excitement. God is so good!
Thank you to all of my readers and new subscribers. It means a lot to have you here and I hope we can all stay connected for many years to come!
Thank you for writing the series!!
Tonya ~ Thank you for being a loyal reader and commenter!
And thank YOU, Kristen.
So thankful to have crossed paths with you through this. And congratulations on your stellar job at this challenge-Touchdown!
Hahaha thank you! I feel like I scored somewhat. Your kind words mean a lot!
Congratulations! You did it! I’m so excited to see how your series on football has come together. (And my sister will be excited if it actually teaches me something about her favorite sport. 😉 )
Ohhhhh I do hope you and your sister can talk about football now. LOL I owe you a lot of thanks for your encouragement and of course, now moving forward with the e=book! You are definitely the expert when it comes to being a “connoisseur of words”. Hugs
This has been one of my very favorite 31 Days series! Thanks so much for your consistency in sharing information with us every single day. I did learn a lot and am enjoying watching a football game right now as I type.
Lisa that is awesome! I was actually watching a football game as well, when you left this comment! LOL I am so glad you enjoyed the series and I really do hope that it helped you understand and enjoy the game more. Let’s keep in touch!
