It’s no secret that people use their phones while visiting the porcelain throne. What’s even more intriguing is the amount of germs spread through phones because of this. Did you know that 1 in 6 cell phones have fecal matter on them? Did you also know that cell phones harbor 18 times more bacteria than a toilet flush handle? Talk about disturbing!
But let’s be real….what is the difference between reading a magazine and reading tweets when nature calls? I’ve done it and I know you have too. In fact, moms especially, seem to escape to the bathroom, quite frequently, in their attempts of having a few minutes away from the demands of motherhood.
With that said, I have a hard time believing that the main demographic for “toilet tweeting” is between the ages of 18-24. It seems to me that millennials are so good at multi-tasking, that by the time they need to relive themselves they should already be caught up with all their social media updates!
